About
We care about your work - not just your legal matter.
The attorneys at Adams Rogers Law Office take the time to understand your organization, your goals, and the people behind them. That knowledge is what makes the difference between advice that is technically correct and advice that is actually useful.

Jonathan A. Rogers brings over 15 years of legal experience to Adams Rogers Law Office, advising closely held and family businesses, nonprofit organizations, and tax-exempt entities. His background spans both the business and nonprofit worlds - he has served as contracted in-house counsel for organizations ranging from product development and sales to entertainment, sports, politics, media, nonprofit entities, and family businesses, helping them navigate day-to-day legal needs as well as more complex organizational decisions. Jonathan coordinates with accountants, other advisors, and specialized counsel to make sure clients get well-rounded support across their operations.
Jonathan's commitment to the nonprofit sector goes beyond his legal practice. His graduate work at the University of Minnesota's Humphrey School of Public Affairs gave him a grounding in public policy and organizational management that informs how he thinks about the missions and structures of the nonprofits and tax-exempt organizations he serves. He also understands how government works from the inside, having worked at the Minnesota Department of Transportation. He understands that these organizations are not just legal entities - they are communities of people doing work that matters.
Jonathan grew up outside the United States and speaks Portuguese, bringing an international perspective to his practice. He serves on the board of ACES, and his commitment to community service includes volunteer work with Tubman and the Advocates for Human Rights, service as a guardian ad litem, and leadership on the Edina Human Rights & Relations Commission. His pro bono work has earned North Star Lawyers recognition.
